‘Signing confirmed!’ – Arsenal fans in transfer meltdown after spotting Yves Bissouma ‘hint’

Another week and perhaps another Yves Bissouma to Arsenal transfer hint. Talk of the midfielder

Another week and perhaps another Yves Bissouma to Arsenal transfer hint.

Talk of the midfielder joining the Gunners this summer simply refuses to go away following yet another impressive Premier League season in the colours of Brighton and Hove Albion.

Furthermore, football.londonunderstands that Arsenal will be in the transfer market to sign players in at least five positions in the coming months, with a big overhaul expected to take place in north London after failing to qualify for Europe for the first time in over two decades.

And it just so happens to be that strengthening in central midfield is a top priority for manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu.

Bissouma, as well as Sheffield United’s Sander Berge, are just two names being looked at and both players are thought to be keen on a switch to the Emirates Stadium.

However, the former appears to be pushing harder for a move.

Well, at least that is the opinion of many Gunners fans given what has happened on social media since the final day of the Premier League season last month.

Firstly, Bissouma took a picture with Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe following his visit to the Emirates, then sent fans into overdrive with an Instagram post.

In addition, the Mali international shared a post from @wilyfit_8 – believed to be his personal trainer – of a man sat down in a bedroom with an Arsenal badge located on the floor next to him.

A week ago, some fans were in a transfer frenzy as a video went viral of Bissouma being in a room with a couple of Arsenal shirts in shot.

And now, there’s another hint that has garnered a big reaction.

As pointed out by @afcstuff on Twitter, Bissouma viewed their Instagram story regarding reports that he is ‘mad’ about Arsenal.

To which some Arsenal fans have taken as another indication that a deal will happen.

In a boost for the Gunners, Brighton chief Paul Barber is open to the possibility of allowing Bissouma to leave this summer.

“I don’t see it as a negative at all,” he told The Athletic. “The more the big clubs that are interested in our players, the more we’re doing right, so I am delighted with that.
