With 19 starters returning the Miami football team is the 19th ranked team in 2021 Sporting News preseason rankings. The Hurricanes 2021 prospects are led by the return of star quarterback D’Eriq King. King is on almost every list ranking the best QBs entering the 2021 college football season.

Alabama football poised to pass 2001 Miami as king of NFL Draft

The 2001 Miami Hurricanes are considered to be the greatest collection of players in college football history, at least as measured by the NFL Draft.

That roster included 38 players who went on to be drafted between 2002 and 2006. The website fivethirtyeight.com measured rosters by a mathematical formula in 2014 and declared it “the single most talented college roster” ever.

Miami Dolphins trade OG Ereck Flowers back to Washington Football Team, sources say

MIAMI — The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms to trade starting left guard Ereck Flowers to the Washington Football Team in a deal that includes a swap of late-round NFL draft picks, sources confirmed to ESPN.

The Dolphins will receive the first of Washington’s two seventh-round picks (244th overall) with Miami sending the second of its two seventh-round picks (258th overall) to Washington.
